A former American rest & recreation facility, Camp John Hay replicates the American country lifestyle – modern yet rustic in a tranquil and serene forest environment embraced with a cool climate. In 1991, all American Base lands were formally turned over to the Philippine government. CJH Development Corporation was Awarded the contract to lease and Develop Camp John Hay for a 50-year period (until year 2046) on 19 October 19, 1996.
Located in Baguio City – 250 kilometers north of Manila, Camp John Hay is the only remaining protected pine forest reservation of the City, a haven for nature lovers and families for a much needed reprieve from their busy lives.
Camp John Hay is generally a pine forest reservation. Only 250 hectares of the 1,600 hectare forest reservation is being developed into a Wholesome Family-Oriented Eco-tourism Destination complete with world-class facilities perfect for leisure vacation or an extended vacation on a more permanent basis thru a Long term ownership.
