Pio Abainza
Director for Sales, Fil Estate

Pio hails from Western Samar. He studied at the Mapua College and finished with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His first sales job was right after graduation, working as a sales agent of Staedtler typewriters. He sold printing machines to schools and offices while completing his papers for work abroad.

Around the mid-80’s Pio went abroad to work for Saudi Aramco, a petroleum company in the Middle East. At the onset of the Gulf War he went back to the Philippines and started to work for Fil Estate's Sales Division. His excellent sales and social skills allowed him to close deals on projects like the Acropolis, Manila Southwoods and Makati's Hillsborough Townhomes. For three years Pio was one of the top selling Branch Managers at Fil Estate. His outstanding attitude towards his clients earned him the respect of his colleagues and subordinates.

Pio eventually had to leave Fil Estate to start his own business in fruit retail. His business allowed him to transact with people from all walks of life. But after all his children finished college, and with a lot of free time in hand, he decided to return to Fil Estate. For him selling real estate was a stress free business. The supply was abundant and will never rot if not sold. Though his retail business is still operational, he now spends most of his time on real estate. He currently holds the title of Director for Sales and has his own sales group. He plans to apply for a broker’s license in the future.
